License Renewal
Dates and Deadlines
For license renewals due June 30, 2024, we have moved back to our pre-Covid CME policy.
Renewal forms are mailed to all licensed podiatrists in mid May of each year. Our office should receive renewal forms and required accompanying materials no later than June 30th of each year.
There is a 30-day grace period (until July 31), but if the license holder fails to secure renewal within this 30-day period, the license will be considered non-renewed or delinquent. Un-renewed or delinquent licenses are valid until January 1 of the following year. Any podiatrist who fails to meet this January 1 deadline for renewal must appear before the Board and take a new examination before being allowed to practice podiatry again in the state of North Carolina.
